Sam and Josh have extensive experience and abilities as chefs. Starting at young ages, both chefs went to college to study catering and hospitality at Lancaster and Morecambe, and Kendal college, where they learnt their craft and gained the highest qualifications in food safety and hygiene, catering and hospitality.

After leaving college, Sam went on to work at the rosette winning Lancaster House Hotel, before moving to the critically acclaimed Ryebeck, one of a select few restaurants in the Michelin guide. Sam was headhunted to help the restaurant retain their status, and after a couple of years was headhunted again, this time to work at The Midland Hotel to help them gain a rosette. Sam ability as a chef is very rare as he is also an accomplished pastry chef. Samuel stayed at The Midland Hotel and went on to win Chef of the year.

Josh truly began his career when he too joined The Midland Hotel, starting at the bottom he quickly rose through the ranks, and after a few years Josh went on to become the youngest ever Junior Sous Chef at The Midland Hotel and his notoriety grew. Josh was later headhunted to take over as head chef at the Chameleon and with Sam as his Sous Chef, the two became an unstoppable force. Josh won both Chef of the Year and Employee of the Year whilst he was at The Midland Hotel.

Sam and Josh have always wanted to give something back to their community, both men grow up in the West End of Morecambe and always aspired to start their own catering school, to help disadvantaged children become chefs and break the social cycle of poverty. Both Sam and Josh personally ran all of the cooking classes for the school’s project and every day made breakfasts for the children who were going to school without. Sam and Josh have since been headhunted, by a former Michelin star winner, fortunately, both Sam and Josh are absolutely committed to growing their own business and giving back to the community!
